Dr. Chandra Rawal

Dr. Rawal is the Head of Operations at Prolong Pharmaceuticals. He also serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Kashiv Biosciences, overseeing Quality Management, Operations, and Biosimilar Development.
Experience

• Over 17 years of diversified manufacturing experience, including oral solids, complex injectables, inhalation, and biologic.

• Instrumental in building cGMP manufacturing plant infrastructures and operational teams.

• Led global commercial manufacturing plants for Amneal Pharmaceuticals and supported filings for complex generic products in the US and ELed global commercial manufacturing plants for Amneal Pharmaceuticals and supported filings for complex generic products in the US and EU.

• Successfully led many FDA and EU inspections.

Previous Roles

• Chief Medical Administrator for a chain of hospitals before entering the pharmaceutical industry.

• Part of global quality accreditations, including JCAHO and NABH in India.

Education

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from M.P. Shah Medical College, Jamnagar, Gujarat, India.

• Masters in Healthcare Management from Central Michigan University (CMU).
